These are frequently asked questions about shootouts/workshops
What will the photographer to model ratio be?
We are expecting to have around a 1:1 photographer/model ratio.
Will the models be doing figure/nude work?
Many of the models we have booked will be available to do figure/nude work.
However each model may have her own restrictions and/or requirements for posing
nude, and might not pose nude during our scheduled shooting.
Will the models be expecting prints or scans or CDs?
Yes. Photographers should provide at least 5 of their best shots on a CD for the
model, within 10 working days. The models will be working hard and are posing to
benefit their portfolio and further their career.
What can I use the photos for?
You will be able to use the images for self-promotion only, but if you want to
re-sell or use images on a pay site, you would need to work that out with each
model individually. You will be given a general release that you will be
responsible for having the models that you shoot sign.
Are beginners welcome?
Yes, this is a great place to learn about photography. We always have
shootouts/workshops, and there are always plenty of great photographers to ask
questions... and to learn from.
Will models be staying after the shoot for possible
additional paying jobs?
This particular shootout will not have time available for private shoots
afterwards. Any arrangements would have to be made privately with the
model.
Will I need lighting equipment?
Yes and No. Most of the shooting is planned for outside, therefore you will need
to have your own flash or lighting equipment. This shootout will have an
indoor studio set up with lighting provided and pre-set. No changes to the
studio setup are allowed. We highly recommend at least an on camera flash
for the outdoor sessions, and a hot shoe to utilize a pocket wizard wireless
trigger.
Is there an age limit?
Yes. All models and photographers must be over the age of 18.
What if something happens and I can't attend?
There are no refunds for cancelation. If you must cancel, if you
contact us 48 hours before the shootout, you can attend the next shootout for
$25. After that, you can register for the next show for half price.
